Cafe2U enters South African market

The Australian-born mobile espresso coffee franchise signed a Master Franchise deal with Marco Da Silva.

The South African Master Franchise owner, who launched Mokador Coffee in Johannesburg in 2007 with his cousin Dylan, said, “Many of the businesses in South Africa are in business parks meaning employees need to drive to get to their local café. The Cafe2U offer of amazing coffee and café style bites served at your business address, is a concept we believe the consumers will be very excited about.”

Meanwhile Cafe2U Managing Director Derek Black commented, “Cafe2U is already the largest mobile coffee franchise in the world, and this development in the South African market marks the beginning of a powerful new clientele and incredible growth opportunity.”

South Africa will be the third international market that Cafe2U has added to its global portfolio in 2012. Earlier this year, Germany and New Zealand were successfully launched to join the existing markets including the UK and USA.
