“Come late December, our bakers will add up the total number of loaves in our bread bank, resulting in what we are hoping will be thousands of loaves for St Vincent de Paul.
“A mixture of gift vouchers and freshly baked loaves will then be used in Vinnies Christmas hampers and food drives throughout Aussie communities.”
St Vincent de Paul State President John Forrest was pleased that the partnership with Brumby’s Bakery who has a strong commitment to helping people need during the Christmas break.
“The rising costs of living makes it hard for families, singles and pensioners to make the budget stretch to cover rent, utilities, food, transport and even prescriptions,” said Forrest.

“We would like to thank everyone at Brumby’s Bakery and the generous donors who will spare their extra change to support a person in need in their community.”
