Gelatissimo bags 'Ambassador' award from Charming Italy website

Charming Italy awards Gelatissimo.

A website that highlights Italy’s beauty, passion, and lifestyle, Charming Italy gives recognition to artisan gelato brand, Gelatissimo, with their “Ambassador” award. Gelatissimo’s website, social media channel, and as well as its product range have been admired and recognized as to having helped give the world a better understanding of the lifestyle and culture of Italy.

Domenico Lopresti, CEO of Gelatissimo, shares how humbled the company is for receiving the award, saying “That is why this award means so much to us. It recognizes that through the use of modern forms of communication, we have been able to distill the age old passion and exuberance that Italians have for food.”

“My brother, Marco and I grew up knowing that making the best gelato requires not just the best, freshest ingredients, making gelato fresh in store daily with our secret family recipes, but it also requires love,” Domenico adds.

Gelatissimo also won in the Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Excellence Award 2012 in the Retail, Wholesale, Import and Export category, and received the 2012 Franchise Council of Australia International Franchise award.
