Select Fresh Providores business development manager John McFadden joins the QSR Media Sandhurst Conference
He will join the event's Food Trends panel.
From fine dining, hotels, QSRs, caterers and busy club spaces, to consulting to suppliers and industry, John McFadden's attention to detail is well known industry-wide.
For the past 15 years, McFadden has been at Group Executive Chef level overseeing multiple operations and teams nationwide. Currently, he is managing Business Development for Select Fresh Providores in Sydney.
He is set to be part of the event's Food Trends panel.
QSR Media: How did you get involved in the multi-site restaurant industry?
McFadden: It started with Trippas White Group back in 2004, when I commenced we had 5 properties, when I left in 2014 we had approx. 30 diverse locations.
What particular industry issues or developments are you currently thinking about?
There are a few, (such as) technology driving [the] millennial [market] and apps, how that shapes our industry moving forward. Health and well-being in food and workplace programs is a big discussion point. Food processing is on the rise and goes hand in hand with sustainability
What are you most excited to do during the QSR Media Conference and Awards in Sydney?
It’s a great opportunity to network, learn(ing) from professionals at the top of their game, (and) shar(ing) knowledge and information. That excites me.
