McDonald’s needs 14,150 new crew
It covers 1,025 restaurants all over Australia.
McDonald’s is seeking to hire 14,150 jobs across its 1,025 restaurants in Australia.
According to the announcement, Macca’s said the roles range from crew, barista, delivery, maintenance, and management roles.
Emma Napoli, McDonald’s Australia’s Chief People Officer, said those seeking a first job, casual roles, and rewarding career in hospitality are welcome to apply for the fast food chain.
“In partnership with our franchisees, we’re proud to offer a supportive working environment, outstanding training and development opportunities, and the flexibility of day and overnight shifts, to suit all circumstances,” said Napoli.
People can also take a peek of what it’s like to work for McDonald’s through the Macca’s Burger Challenge game, which is available online on October 5.
“Macca’s crew are well-known for their legendary speedy service, so the game tests players’ speed, coordination and memory as they build and wrap as many of their favourite burgers as they can in 45 seconds, all with the encouragement of their virtual crew mates,” read the statement.
McDonald’s also invested more than $40m into training and development initiatives every year.
In addition, McDonald’s Australia’s Hamburger University also gives crew and management with training in areas such as leadership and team management.
