Grill’d is launching its City Support Dinners programme in Byron Bay, providing free meals to those having a tough time.
As part of the brand’s initiative to create a safe space for people experiencing disadvantages to have a moment of connection and enjoy a nutritious meal, Grill’d closes seven restaurants at 5 PM, to provide a feed to people in need for free every first Tuesday of the month. Locations include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra and Ballarat.
Grill’d Byron Bay will provide a free meal to those doing it tough in the local Northern Rivers community. The initiative is in partnership with The Salvation Army.
The initiative began at Grill’d Southern Cross in Melbourne in March 2022, before expanding nationally and has provided 44,275 meals to date.
