Bowser Bean opened mobile kitchen for flood-stricken Rochester community
About 2,000 burgers, 1,000 coffees, and 500 sandwiches were distributed.
QSR brand Bowser Bean assisted the communities in Rochester by opening a mobile kitchen in the town that was hit by a flood.
In a statement, Bowser Bean said the town was inundated during the floods that made it difficult for trading and there was limited food for Rochester residents and flood relief workers.
To respond to the flood-hit community, Bowser Bean activated its mobile kitchen, which was open for six consecutive days. It provided 2,000 burgers, 1,000 coffees, and 500 sandwiches for free.
It provided “fuel” for the community to conduct massive cleanup following the flood that swept businesses and homes.
Bowser Bean Managing Director Haydn Tierney said he was grateful for his staff as well as the support of their suppliers for the relief efforts.
