McDonald's signs $90 million deal with Telstra

Telstra will provide a fibre network, Wi-Fi coverage, and unified communications service across 850 stores.

According to ZDNet, the "umbrella" fibre network will be used by McDonald's to enhance its operations and provide customers with a connected brand experience. The rollout will take 24 months to complete, but a number of restaurants will start operating on the new network next year.
