Hungry Jack's pledges to switch to cage-free eggs

Hungry Jack’s announced it will begin phasing out caged eggs, promising to be completely cage-free across its network of more than 400 restaurants by the end of 2017.

Hungry Jack’s Chief Marketing Officer, Scott Baird said this was part of the company’s commitment to meeting consumer expectations.

“We have been listening to customer feedback and are constantly striving to provide quality food at affordable prices,” Baird said.

“Hungry Jack’s has been working closely with its supplier over the past 12 months to ensure this is a promise we can deliver on. We needed to ensure the supply chain could deliver the volume of cage-free eggs needed.”
