Cold Rock Ice Creamery's April Fool's video goes viral

In the video, Cold Rock announced its latest new premium tomato sauce ‘Mix In’.

Since being posted to the company’s Facebook page on Saturday 1 April, the video that jokingly implies that Cold Rock’s latest Mix In flavour is tomato sauce has been viewed over 673,000 times and has received over 12,000 comments, 1,744 shares and 3,700 likes.

Cold Rock’s parent company Franchised Food Company Director Stan Gordon said that he is delighted with the results and is looking into how video content can help promote the already popular ice-cream brand via social media.

The April Fool's prank announced that for a limited time this April, customers can try the tomato sauce flavour mixed with their ice cream, with whichever flavour they choose. Cold Rock also said that they will serve up tomato sauce flavoured thick shakes.
