Ian Martin leaves Baskin-Robbins Australia
The Australia General Manager of Baskin-Robbins has resigned after two years with the company.
Ian Martin was employed by Dunkin’ Brands Australia Pty Ltd., the local subsidiary of parent company Dunkin’ Brands, in December 2010, after the termination of Allied Brands as Baskin-Robbins’ master franchisee in Australia.
Baskin-Robbins said Mr Martin has contributed to many efforts to rebuild the brand in Australia, including the focus on operational excellence, product line expansion, introducing world-class training systems and further developing the franchise partner network.
The company is now looking for a replacement General Manager. In the interim, the Australian market will be overseen by John Varghese, Regional Vice President – International.
Mr Varghese said, “We would like to thank Ian for his contributions to Baskin-Robbins Australia during the past two years, and wish him well for all future endeavours.”
Meanwhile Baskin-Robbins did not cite the reason for the resignation.
