Subway broadens delivery services through latest partnership with Uber Eats
The move is said to be driven by the increasing number of searches for sandwiches and healthy options.
Subway has announced that they partnered with UberEats to widen their delivery services.
“Subway now delivers to your door or office with just a few taps on your smartphone with the Uber Eats app,” Subway Australia and New Zealand’s director of marketing Kate Brody said. “We know Australians want freshly made and nutritious lunch delivery choices, however, having your favourite Subway Footlong meal delivered hasn’t been an option for many people until now.”
Brody also added that the move was driven by having 14,000 searches on the Uber Eats app for sandwiches. The delivery platform also noticed that searches for "nutritious" options are also growing.
“Subway is the perfect partner to help us respond to this demand and provide a greater selection of delicious meals to you whether you're at work, at home or even at the park," Jodie Auster, Uber Eats’ general manager for Australia and New Zealand, said.
Uber Eats is now among the food aggregators working with Subway, who has earlier partnerships with Deliveroo and Menulog.
