More McDonald's outlets to deliver via Menulog
McDelivery will remain contact-free.
More than 100 McDonald’s restaurants will be available for online orders and delivery on Menulog, the two companies confirmed in a media release.
Rolling out over the coming weeks, these restaurants will be using Menulog’s ‘self-delivery’ option, which enables restaurants to use their own employees as drivers.
This is also the first time these restaurants will be able to offer McDelivery, which is now contact-free in light of new social distancing measures.
“Menulog’s significant experience in both self-delivery and delivery services has allowed us to quickly bring this partnership to life, allowing our people to keep serving the communities we operate in,” McDonald’s Australia head of delivery Jen Evans said.
Menulog managing director Morten Belling added: “This new partnership is a true testament to Menulog’s foundational business model, which is to support restaurants with their own drivers to facilitate online ordering and delivery.”
More than 60 McDonald’s restaurants were already live on Menulog, with more set to follow over the coming weeks in areas such as Dubbo, Bathurst, Albany, Colac and Maryborough.
