Hungry Jack's widens delivery reach with Uber Eats partnership
The chain is seeing rapid growth in online orders amidst the pandemic.
Hungry Jack’s is widening its delivery options by partnering with Uber Eats, the company said in a statement.
The Whopper-making chain earlier teamed up with Menulog to provide an online platform for customers to order for delivery, in addition to its own website and app.
Hungry Jack said online ordering accounts for a “growing percentage” of sales.
“The demand for home delivery has increased steadily and we know many of our customers rely on our restaurants for variety, special treats and well-priced meals,” chief marketing officer Scott Baird said. “We’ve seen a huge increase in online orders during the day, both for snacks and meals from people working from home; and, in the evening, the demand for meals and more choices from singles, couples and families is growing rapidly.”
Earlier this year, Hungry launched the Fresh Choices menu, which was preceded by the launch of their plant-based Rebel Whopper.
