Guzman y Gomez highlights personalisation potential in revamped app
The chain says customers can now create, customize and save their favorite orders in seconds.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) has revamped their app, which they say allows customers to create, customize and save their favorite orders in seconds.
Available to download on IOS via Apple App Store and Android via Google Play, the app also has a drive-thru option to pick meals up directly from their drive-thru windows, a ‘Bundles’ section for app-exclusive menu items and a table service feature for those who wish to order in-store.
Users can also track their GOMEX rewards points across the app and earn “GYG Dollars”, allowing them to split your payments between GYG Dollars and other payment methods, offering flexibility.
New app users can also claim a free burrito when they download the app.
Since launching on April 12, there have been over 400,000 GYG app downloads, the chain said.
“We know that Aussies love to personalise their orders and like the benefit of pre-ordering and picking up their favourite GYG meals whether in-store or drive-thru. The new GYG app takes ordering to the next level with a quick and convenient experience,” founder and CEO Steven Marks said in a media release.
