Over 100 QSR and fast casual restaurant leaders from the c-suite joined our “QSR Outlook for 2021” webinar last 25 March, in partnership with Oracle Food and Beverage.
The event kicked off with a 15-minute presentation from Mintel South APAC senior foodservice consultant David Ha, which discussed three megatrends he believes will define a post-COVID industry, which he referred to as the “next normal.”
Following suit is Deliveroo Australia corporate affairs head Libby Hay, who offered insights on restaurant sector confidence and the ongoing delivery boom by looking at the Australia and Hong Kong markets.
Closing the event was a panel discussion with Pavel Dorosevich (KFC Central Asia COO, Yum! Brands), Hendy Setiono (CEO, Kebab Turki Baba Rafi), Brad Dight (General Manager, Technology, Minor DKL Food Group), and Sue Savage (Director of Major Accounts JAPAC Region, Oracle Food and Beverage), which centered around operators’ outlooks for 2021, thoughts on virtual brands, the growth of e-commerce channels and what’s next for omnichannel experiences.
