Ferguson Plarre Bakehouses gives one lucky girl birthday cakes for life
The brand announced the winner of its 115th birthday competition, with Maria-Louise Emmins of Tarneit winning a birthday cake each year for the rest of her life.
Chief Executive Officer and fourth generation baker Steve Plarre said his team are thrilled to help Maria-Louise celebrate her special milestone each year.
“Ferguson Plarre has been at the centre of families’ most emotionally-charged moments for generations – helping them celebrate birthdays, weddings and anniversaries,” Plarre said.
“We are looking forward to being part of Maria-Louise’s celebrations for many years to come.”
Plarre presented Emmins with her Golden Ticket at Ferguson Plarre’s Queen Victoria Market Bakehouse, one of its oldest stores, on Monday 26 September.
Emmins said, “Every time there’s a birthday in the family, we always pay a visit to our local Ferguson Plarre shop to pick up a Chocolate Mousse cake. The fact that I can look forward to a Ferguson Plarre birthday cake every year is truly a treat.”
