Domino's to give away 60,000 pizzas
Giveaway winners will be able to nominate one of four selected charities by the pizza chain to donate $1 on their behalf.
Domino’s announced it is giving away 60,000 free pizzas and donating $60,000 to charity.
10,000 pizza vouchers per day will be given away between 2 August and 7 August through the pizza chain’s Facebook page. The vouchers are valid until 30 September.
Giveaway participants who obtain a free pizza will be asked to choose a charity from a selection which Domino’s nominates. Domino’s will then make a donation of $1 to that charity.
Charities include AIME, which provides a mentoring program for Indigenous students; Foodbank which provides food to vulnerable Australians; White Cloud Foundation which
provides mental health support; and the Australian Red Cross, which provides support to people and communities.
“One of the things I admire most about Australians is our unique ability to band together and support each other in times of need. And it’s that resilient, community focused spirit we try to bring to everything we do at Domino’s,” the chain’s ANZ CEO Nick Knight said in a media release. “We know it’s been a privilege to continue safely operating during this time, and haven’t taken that responsibility lightly.”
