Din Tai Fung partners with Universal Pictures to unveil the Yeti Fun Bun

The item was released to commemorate the release of the animated film Abominable.

Din Tai Fung has teamed up with Universal Pictures to unveil the Yeti Fun Bun: a commemorative item celebrating the release of the latter’s new film Abominable.

The colourful item draws inspiration from the film’s leading character Everest the Yeti’s love of buns, and is three times the size of a regular bun. When opened, the bun reveals three mini buns, each in different delightful colours influenced by scenes in the film: an orange bun filled with molten chocolate, a pink bun with a red velvet filling, and a purple bun filled with blueberry cream cheese.

Coinciding with the film’s release on 19 September, customers can avail of the Yeti Fun Bun at all Din Tai Fung stores (except MLC Centre, Gateway Sydney and Greenwood Plaza) for $9.20 until 9 October.

Din Tai Fung will also be giving away 100 family movie passes to see Abominable, as well as other prizes that include a trip to New Zealand.
