Bubba Pizza delivers cold pizza for free to Grand Final viewers

The chain says it wants to help cure hangovers.

In a bid to help the post-Grand Final blues, Bubba Pizza offered cold pizza to viewers in Victoria free of charge a day after the event.

The Melbourne-based family business has continued to see a significant spike in orders over the Grand Final weekend every year. This year, the chain anticipated that it will cook more than 7,500 pizzas, with the ham and pineapple pizza remaining as their most popular order.

“Our stores are fully stocked and ready for a busy weekend which will include around 800kgs of tomato sauce and more than 1,800kg of cheese – the equivalent of 20 AFL players,” Bubba Pizza director Damian Hopper said in a statement issued last week.
