Boost Juice promotes contactless ordering and payment in new ad

The “Boost Sip of the Day” campaign encourages people to download their app to avoid queues.

Boost Juice is set to feature a new ad promoting contactless ordering as restrictions start to get further relaxed in the coming weeks.

Launching on Channel 9 starting 31 May, and also featuring on YouTube, the chain’s “Boost Sip of the Day” TVC features an app user getting her order ahead of customers wearing outlandish personal protective gear.

The chain said the ad draws inspiration from “some of the extreme COVID-19 outfits that have been shared on social media from around the world”, whilst promoting a contactless ordering and payment solution through the Boost App.

Downloading the app also gives customers access to Boost’s VIBE rewards programme.

“We’ve seen all the “we’re in it together” ads from brands around the world, but Boost is all about making people feel just that little bit better. There’s nothing better than a bit of humour to give you a Boost. It’s part of our fighting Aussie spirit to share a laugh, even in the worst of times,” Boost Juice national marketing manager Lucy Duvnjak said.

“With the COVID-19 crisis, we’ve seen new audiences rapidly adopt digital solutions to meet their desire to live ‘normal lives’. It just goes to show how digital technology can meet the emotional needs of humans. That’s when digital is performing at it’s best,” Boost Juice chief technical innovation officer Christian McGilloway added.
