7-Eleven launches new loungewear range for locked down Aussies in VIC, NSW
The chain is giving them away on their official Instagram account from October 12 to 22.
7-Eleven announced it is giving away its first loungewear range for locked down Aussies in VIC and NSW.
The exclusive set consists a white fleece jumper with the words ‘busy doing nothing’ and white shorts that feature the chain’s logo.
7-Eleven is giving away the loungewear on their official Instagram account from October 12 to 22, exclusively for residents in VIC and NSW residents aged 16 years and over.
According to 7-Eleven Australia General Manager-Customer, Julie Laycock, the giveaway is designed to give Australians who have been in lockdown a little something wonderful.
“For obvious reasons, the 2020/2021 key fashion trend across Australia has been comfort, with active wear and loungewear in high rotation, particularly in Melbourne and Sydney,” said Julie Laycock, 7-Eleven Australia’s general manager for customer.
In a separate announcement, 7-Eleven said it is encouraging its more than 8,000 staff to join mental health organisation ReachOut’s Make a Move initiative this October, designed to raise funds to support the latter’s services.
ReachOut is the most accessed online mental health service for young people and those that care for them in Australia.
More than 880,000 people from NSW and over 380,000 people from QLD have accessed ReachOut’s services so far this year.
“By working directly with our charity partner ReachOut we hope to make a real difference to not only the wellbeing of our team but the young people that ReachOut supports. When you see the figures around the need for mental health services in this country the results are truly staggering,” 7-Eleven Australia CEO and managing director Angus McKay said.
