Wendys sells more than 20,000 litres of M&M’s MINIS ice cream

Over a six-week promotional period, the M&M’s® MINIS ice cream was sold as the key ingredient in almost 90,000 scoops, shakes, and sundaes.

“Our scoop ice creams have long been a cornerstone of the Wendys brand and we believe we’re the first to incorporate M&M’s® MINIS as an inclusion in an ice cream that’s ready-to-serve,” said Wendys CEO Rob McKay.

He said they invested significantly in the development of the M&M’s® MINIS ice cream and so it was very pleasing to see it perform very well for their franchisees.

Meanwhile Wendys has also invested in developing its hot dog range with two new products – an Egg and Bacon Dog and an Aussie Dog.

A current promotion extending the hot dog offering is among other innovations being introduced by Wendys in an effort to boost sales across its 260 stores.
