Get your banana fix here: Baskin-Robbins launched new ice cream flavor
After receiving so many requests, Baskin-Robbins developed the new Banana flavour exclusively for the Australian market.
“We’ve received so many requests for Banana ice cream, so we are excited we can now offer our customers a specially developed, Australian-only flavour. It will give Aussies another way to enjoy the delicious taste of banana throughout the summer," Ian Martin, Baskin-Robbins General Manager, Australia says.
“Bananas are a part of the national fabric of Australia,” said Kerry Burke, Senior Flavour Development Technologist at Baskin-Robbins, who was responsible for developing the new Banana flavour. “We have other flavours that include banana – including Bananas ’n’ Strawberries and Banana Nut – but we specifically created this flavour to cater to the Aussie palate, and we are confident this will satisfy ice cream and banana fanatics alike throughout Australia.”
The new Banana flavour is made according to Baskin-Robbins’ well renowned high standards for premium ice cream. For extreme banana enthusiasts, there is also a range of banana products available in-store including the Chocolate Gone Bananas sundae, Banana Shake, Banana Royale and the classic Banana Split, the last of which includes fresh banana.
Banana ice cream is available in all participating Baskin-Robbins stores in Australia from October, and is the October ‘Flavour of the Month’.
