Eagle Boys launches gourmet lunchtime menu
Eagle Boys has introduced a gourmet sandwich range aimed to target workers as the pizza maker taps the lunch market.
The new Toasted Turkish sandwiches are available in Chicken & Cheese, BLT, Ham Cheese & Tomato, Steak Bacon & Cheese, and Vegetarian.
The range is available at Eagle Boys’ standard stores which already open for lunch from 1 August 2010 from $6.95, and can also be delivered directly to a workplace or a construction site.
Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton said he expected the new lunchtime menu would be very popular with workers.
“Just because we don’t use crisp white table cloths and silver cutlery, doesn’t mean we can’t make a delicious gourmet sandwich! Plus, our gourmet sandwiches are available at only a fraction of the cost of most gourmet deli sandwiches,” he said.
“A lot of people have been telling us that we should expand our lunch menu, so we decided to give it a go.
“Pizza lovers will still be able to order a pizza at lunch, but the addition of Toasted Turkish sandwiches broadens the lunchtime options for customers,” added Clayton.
Eagle Boys Pizza operates more than 315 franchised stores throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, the ACT and the Northern Territory, employing more than 4,000 staff and making more than 17 million pizzas a year.
