Eagle Boys develops kids meals
The range of dedicated children’s pizzas was launched to allow parents to enjoy the more gourmet pizza offers.
In an announcement Eagle Boys noted, "In the past, parents would simply have to choose the pizza which they knew their kids would like, rather than what they wanted." The launch of the menu follows research showing many families are looking for dedicated children’s pizzas.
Eagle Boys Group Executive Marketing Christine Hooper said, “By providing a dedicated kids menu, families were still able to enjoy pizza together but also ensure different taste buds were satisfied.”
All items on Eagle Boys' kids menu are rated Amber under The Smart Choices – Food and Drink Selector system of school tuckshop food and drink categorisation. This means the new range of pizzas and pastas developed by Eagle Boys for children can be enjoyed in moderation as part of a balanced diet and lifestyle.
The kids menu features Ham & Pineapple, Chicken Supreme, and Cheese & Tomato pizzas, along with pasta dishes Spaghetti Bolognese and Macaroni & Cheese.
“At the same time, by creating a menu of Amber classified pizzas and pastas we can help parents make more informed choices for their children. This is the same food classification system used in school tuckshops so is a system which families are very familiar with,” said Christine Hooper.
Eagle Boys stores are offering an All Star Kids Meal Deal from $6.95 until 26 September. The All Star Kids Meal Deal includes a kids pizza or pasta, Nestle Milo Bar and Fruity Drink as well as a free Eagle Boys soccer ball, basketball, tennis ball or football.
