Baskin-Robbins celebrates Royal Wedding with commemorative ice cream wedding cake

The commemorative wedding "English Garden" ice cream cake is inspired by the colorful gardens of the Cotswolds in Central England.

According to Baskin-Robbins, the ice cream cake may be customized with any flavour ice cream. It is available at participating Baskin-Robbins locations in single and two-tiered options.

General Manager of Baskin-Robbins Australia, Ian Martin, said: “Our ice cream cakes are hugely popular but we have never attempted such a traditional cake design as this. Whether it’s a grand celebration like the Royal Wedding, or the perfect dessert to cap a romantic dinner, Baskin-Robbins ice cream cakes are the perfect treat to share with family and friends to make any moment a little sweeter.”

For another “royal” dessert fit for a king or queen, Baskin-Robbins will also offer a new romantic Flavour of the Month this April, Chocolate Dipped Strawberry, a decadent pairing of vanilla and strawberry ice creams wrapped with a chocolate ganache ribbon and loaded with strawberry filled chocolates shaped like strawberries.

“Chocolate Dipped Strawberry” ice cream and the “English Garden” ice cream wedding cakes are available at Baskin-Robbins shops throughout Australia beginning April 20.
