Subway revamps their menu with healthier options
Additions include a new vegan sub and gluten-free wraps.
Subway has announced that they have a new menu that is said to provide a broad choice of deli-meats, new sauces and healthier options that caters to all kinds of dietary needs.
19 new ingredients will be featured. Newcomers include habanero hot sauce, blue cheese dressing, pesto mayo, smoky BBQ sauce, tzatziki, seeded mustard, cranberry relish and smoky tomato chutney. They also added more seasonings with cracked pepper, rock salt, herb seasoning and zesty spice.
They also introduced a new vegan sub that comes with malted rye bread with seeds and grains. Gluten-free wraps are also now available in the sub chain’s menu.
Subs can now be packed with more meat choices with the addition of streaky bacon, carved turkey, leg ham, rustic chicken and 100% Aussie beef diced steak.
“During a 100-restaurant, six-month trial of our menu innovations, our guests gave these flavour-packed options their enthusiastic endorsement,” Kate Brody, Subway’s director of marketing, said.
“From this month, Subway fans visiting our more than 1350 restaurants across Australia will be able to enjoy the even greater choices that our new fresh and high-quality ingredients offer along with the iconic flavours we’ve become known for.
