Soul Origin rolls out new soup range

The Winter Warming selection has been created with the seasonal ingredients, boasting wholesome vegetarian soups.

Recent Roy Morgan research revealed between 2012 and 2016, the number of Australian adults with an all vegetarian or mostly vegetarian diet had risen from 1.7 million people (or 9.7% of the population) to almost 2.1 million (11.2 % of the population) and this continues to rise. The research shows Australia has the fastest uptake of the vegetarian and plant based diets in the world.

Not only has there been an increase in near or total vegetarianism across Australia, but almost 9.9 million Australian adults agree that they are eating less meat.

Soul Origin’s new soup selection features a range of traditional meat free soups including minestrone and classic pumpkin to some new gourmet flavours including creamy mushroom parmesan and Mexican chilli.

Australian nutritionist Lyndi Cohen says the Soul Origin Winter Warming soup range will help Australians eat well without the worry this Winter.

“As more Australians are avoiding processed meats and adopting vegetarian diets, there is growing demand for plant based options especially when eating out. Soul Origin is leading the way through providing Australians with a wonderful selection of delicious vegetarian options this Winter,” says Lyndi Cohen.
