Ribs & Burgers, Tabasco unveil sriracha-infused Bloody Mary Burger
The burger brand has stocked Tabasco's original hot sauce since launching seven years ago.
Continuing their streak of partnerships, Ribs & Burgers has teamed up with hot sauce company Tabasco to create the Bloody Mary Burger.
Their latest menu item is made with a Southern-style chicken breast, celery slaw, horseradish mayo and Tabasco’s limited edition sriracha sauce.
“We are proud to announce that Ribs & Burgers is the first brand to be showcasing this sauce in Australia,” Ribs & Burgers’ brand food manager Etienne Lubbe told QSR Media. “Although the sauce is not being released into retail, The Bloody Mary Burger recipe card will be displayed alongside a limited edition 150ml. bottle of Tabasco's original hot sauce.”
Lubbe noted that Ribs & Burgers has had a long standing relationship with the Tabasco brand and has stocked the latter’s original hot sauce since launching seven years ago.
But after learning that Tabasco was celebrating its 150th birthday in 2018, the brand saw a “clear opportunity” to partner with the global hot sauce brand.
“For product development chefs, there are always a few concepts that you mull over and dream of launching. And for me, a Bloody Mary-inspired burger is definitely one of those. The flavour components in a Bloody Mary translate very well into food and I'd like to think that that is exactly what we have achieved in this burger.”
The latest offering follows the highly-received Deadpool Double, which resulted from Ribs & Burgers’ partnership with 20th Century Fox.

“We are always on the lookout for new collaborators, forward thinkers, brands that are not afraid to try to work alongside us in creating something new/exciting and different,” Ribs & Burgers national marketing manager Adam Issa said. “We have now worked alongside multiple brands over the past couple of years which has made us more far more confident in co-creating.”
Issa also confirmed that they are currently in talks with a confectionery brand.“Without saying too much, we are visiting ways to bring something sweet to R&B. We have found that most customers end up having a dessert else where after a meal at Ribs & Burgers. So the alignment comes at a perfect time for us.”
