New York Slice Eyeing Growth with its Recent Menu Overhaul
The new-look menu is expected to increase the group’s revenue to $20M per annum.
The unveiling of the revamped menu signals the expansion of the brand to another 15 stores around Australia. Following its recent acquisition by Brisbane-based group, Franchise Retail Brands, New York Slice is set to refresh their brand’s name by producing better quality pizza at better price point.
Franchise Retail Brands Director, Sean Corbin, said the New York Slice offering would guarantee fresher, higher quality pizza at a lower cost to consumers. As a deal, franchisees would also get a slice of the rewards.
“Our franchisees will have reduced costs due to our bargaining power as part of the Franchise Retail Brands group, as we look to streamline our suppliers,” Corbin said.
New York Slice’s new menu includes its signature range of pizzas in all sizes, from a classic slice ($4) through to its 18” massive pizzas ($24), a make-your-own pizza offering, and sides including a range of loaded fries, garlic bread, chips and desserts. The menu boasts a new Neapolitan dough rolled fresh in-store, and more locally sourced produce, creating a better offering for consumers.
The new menu will roll out in Springfield, Bondi on Tuesday the 20th of June and Prahran on the 22nd of June.
