Muffin Break launches new vegan range
The chain says it also won’t charge extra for customers who prefer alternative milk for their coffee.
Eyeing a new customer base, Muffin Break announced the launch of its new vegan range.
New muffins made with their vegan wholemeal mix include Apple Blueberry, Banana Pecan, Mixed Berry and the Date Apple Cinnamon.
The Foodco-owned chain also guaranteed that customers who prefer alternative milk for their coffees will not be charged extra.
“The reason why we are including a vegan option into our permanent range is because our customers are asking for it. Over the past 5 years we have had more than 1000% increase in the number of enquiries asking about vegan products at Muffin Break. We are on track to increase this number again in 2019 and 2020,” the chain said in their announcement.
The chain has kickstarted their advertising on International Vegan Day last 1 November, aiming to “aim to reach a new customer base that may not have considered coming to Muffin Break before.”
