Hog's Express partners with Frosty Boy to launch soft serve
Hog's brought the new soft serve flavour, Pink Himalayan Rock Salt and Charcoal, to its menu.
A first for Hog’s, the new versatile dessert offering gives the franchise a customised product for their customers, in and out of store.
Frosty Boy's general manager sales and marketing, Felipe Demartini, said that the industry is responding to consumer demand, resulting in dessert products become readily available in express style food trucks rather than traditional quick service restaurants, and both businesses saw this as an opportunity to launch a new product in the market.
“We love creating customised innovative flavours and Hog’s Express was the perfect partner to trial two new tastes in the market as well as a new style of dining,” Demartini said. “The premiumisation of the dessert industry and specifically soft serve has been elevated by the online community, bringing more demand for businesses to perform and bring to the
table the next big ‘thing!"
Hog’s Express Myer Centre general manager, Geoff Hargreaves, said that soft serve fits well into this grab and go concept and Frosty Boy have allowed the business to create
customised flavours that suit the innovative nature of Hog’s Express. “Frosty Boy has provided us with a unique customisation that is tailored for Hog’s Express and its future roll out across Australia,” Hargreaves said.
The soft serve products will be available at the new Hog’s Express in the Myer Centre, Brisbane City as well as future Hog’s Express outlets across the country.
