Crust launches international flavours
New flavors from all over the world in your pizza.
Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar is launching a new line of items using unique new ingredients from all over the globe to bring an international flavour to its menu.
The pizza bar unveiled three new pizzas and two salads, cooked with a range of ingredients including traditional sujuk beef sausage, black truffle aioli, and smoked labne, Crust said in a statement on Tuesday.
Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar General Manager Renee North said that it is the company's long-term strategy to bring menu innovation using quality ingredients as a means to building its business.
"We call our customers 'culturally curious' -- they want to see the latest movies, listen to up and coming bands and taste ingredients that they've never ever heard of before," she said.
"We've scoured the globe for ingredients not seen on My Kitchen Rules or Masterchef and have built them into some amazing recipes for sensational gourmet pizzas."
North said that the new menu additions were inspired by flavours from France, Argentine, the Middle East, Japan, and Korea.
"Crust customers will be the first in Australia to be talking about how well the traditional sujuk beef sausage pairs up with smoked labne and pickled turnip," she said.
The Upper Crust Truffle Beef 'Rossini', Argentine Carne and Middle Eastern Beef pizzas, as well as the Japanese Pulled Chicken and Spicy Korean Prawn salads are now available at Crust Gourmet Pizza Bars nationwide.
