Check out the new Baskin-Robbins customisable cake range

The dessert chain introduced an extension to its range of Tuxedo Ice Cream Cakes in time for Easter.

The new range of ice cream cakes allows guests to customise and create their own unique and personalised cake for any celebration occasion. Guests can start their creation by choosing an ice cream base from the wide range of Baskin-Robbins’ 31 premium ice cream flavours, then select their chocolate shards from a range of 5 different variants, followed by their selection from over 10 toppings; which include a caramel popcorn option, mixed berries, gummi bears or chocolate brownies with hot caramel fudge.

David Jordan, Baskin-Robbins General Manager said, "Each Tuxedo cake is handmade from scratch in store. From mid-January this year, the Baskin-Robbins Franchise Partner network have participated in an advanced Ice Cream Cake training and reaccreditation programme in preparation for this range extension. This initiative has ensured that our product quality offering is consistent across all stores and most importantly, still offers the variety of ice cream cakes for our guests.”

Jordan said that Baskin-Robbins Australia aims to grow the ice cream cake market through awareness of ice cream as an alternative in a celebration cake. Tuxedo Ice Cream Cakes provide guests of all ages with a reason to celebrate every occasion with an ice cream cake, not just special occasions.

“Market insight reflect that guests are demanding innovative ideas and variety; our new Tuxedo range extensions offer guests numerous choices and provides hundreds of unique ice cream cake combination ideas. Our stores are now adequately prepared and trained to ensure we deliver a consistent ice cream cake experience,” he said.

The Tuxedo Ice Cream Cake range is available at all Baskin-Robbins stores.
