California Burgers teams up with UFC fighter Georges St-Pierre to create the "Rush" burger
The new offering coincides with the mixed martial artist's upcoming speaking tour in Australia.
California Burgers has partnered with mixed martial artist Georges St-Pierre to unveil their newest "Rush" burger.
Coined after the UFC fighter's nickname, the burger consists of ingredients reportedly selected by St-Pierre including two beef patties, two slices of cheese, a slice of bacon, grilled onions, tomato, lettuce, pickle, mayo, relish and honey mustard. The limited-edition item coincides with the mixed martial artist's upcoming speaking tour in Australia in August.
"We were excited to collaborate and work with him to create The Rush Burger; a unique offering which includes all his favourite burger ingredients. We are looking forward to hosting Georges St-Pierre, a UFC world champion, in store at California Burgers in August for the Melbourne leg of his first ever Australian tour," said Rosemary Tzavaras, owner and operator of California Burgers, a co-sponsor of the “An Evening with Georges St-Pierre” event.
The Rush burger will be available during July as the monthly special until the event at the Melbourne Convention Centre on August 11th.
