Pizza Hut announces new strategic direction, in effort to be seen as the best value pizza chain
The chain now offers $4.95 pizzas, while most expensive pizza range to be capped at $8.50.
From July 1, the Pizza Hut Classics range will be priced at $4.95 pick-up, while Pizza Hut’s premium menu (the Favourites range) will be priced at $8.50 pick-up.
In addition, the chain will not charge extra for chicken.
The Classics range consists of six pizzas, including Pizza Hut’s most popular pizzas like Pepperoni Feast and the Big Cheese, while the Favourites range will include 11 flavours, including BBQ Meatlovers and Super Supreme.
“Quality is at the core of our pizzas and with our new pricing, pizza lovers can get the best of both worlds – great tasting pizzas at a great price,” said Pizza Hut General Manager Graeme Houston.
Houston added that Pizza Hut believed this move represented the future of pizza for Australians at a time when every dollar counted for families.
Meanwhile, Houston also announced that two new flavours will be launched in stores.
