Founded in 2006, Zambrero’s modern spin on Mexican food was inspired by Dr. Prince’s experiences working at a Mexican restaurant during medical school.
In addition to its 17 restaurants, Zambrero is partnered with Plate For Plate, an initiative that donates a plate of food to someone in a developing country for every meal purchased. Feeding 280,000 people since its inception, the concept lets Zambrero guests not only nourish themselves with every meal but also someone less fortunate. The program aims to feed 10 million people each year.
