Baskin-Robbins ties up with Sony Pictures

To welcome the arrival of Men In Black™ 3 to the big screen on May 24, the ice cream specialty shop has rolled out treats inspired by the movie.

Baskin-Robbins is offering guests the following menu items at participating shops nationwide for a limited time only to tie into the Men In Black 3 space theme:

• Pink Surprise Cake - a triple layer ice cream cake made of Cookies ‘n Cream ice cream sandwiched between two layers of chocolate sponge cake and adorned with pink frosting roses.

• Lunar Cheesecake Flavour of the Month - making its way back into Baskin-Robbins restaurants as the May Flavour of the Month to celebrate the time traveling theme of Men In Black 3. Originally introduced in 1969 to commemorate the first spaceflight to land on the moon, this classic flavour features green and white cheesecake ice cream loaded with real cheesecake bits and wrapped up in a crunchy graham cracker ribbon.

• Spacey Sundaes and New Cappuccino Blast® Flavour - the Agent 31 sundae, Agent J’s Cholocate Cappuccino Blast®, and the Lunar Cheesecake Thickshake. The Lunar Cheesecake Thickshake is made from the new Lunar Cheesecake Flavour of the Month, garnished with fresh cream and caramel syrup. In the Agent 31 sundae, chocolate fudge ice cream is topped with moist brownie pieces, hot fudge, chocolate sprinkles and whipped cream. Agent J’s Chocolate Cappuccino Blast is a combination of cappuccino flavour base, milk, chocolate ice cream, and chocolate syrup all blended with ice and finished with whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle.

Baskin-Robbins is also giving guests a chance to get involved in the launch of Men In Black 3. To participate in the Facebook promotion guests should take a photo of themselves behind the MIB Agent poster featured in store, scan the QR code or visit the Baskin-Robbins in Australia Facebook page to upload their photo. Once their MIB agent photo is uploaded, they should present this to the BR team member to receive a Buy 1 Get 1 FREE voucher for use on their next visit.
