Nominations now open for QSR Media Awards!

You can now nominate your favourite fast food and fast casual restaurant for the upcoming QSR Media Awards to be held on July 22 at The Hilton Hotel, Sydney.


Brands can be nominated up to a maximum of five categories. A panel of industry judges will vote on the submissions. The Awares will be annoucned on the 22nd July 2015 at the QSR Media Conference and Awards at the Hilton Hotel.

Filing of nomination ends on 22 June, Thursday.

Categories this year include:

  • Best Use of Social Media – For fast food and fast casual restaurants who utilize social media either conventionally or virally. This award recognize the use of social media in innovative or unexpected ways to great effect.
  • Best Digital Initiative – For fast food and fast casual restaurants who utilize technology to improve their overall brand experience. This could include anything from brand specific ordering apps to in-store technology solutions designed to improve customer experience.
  • Best Brand Transformation – For fast food and fast casual restaurants who have recently undergone a revamp. This could include anything from a new look store or improved brand design that delivers a completely new brand experience.
  • Best Corporate Social Responsibility initiative - For fast food and fast casual restaurants who think beyond profits. We’re looking for the best initiative of the last 12 months, which could include anything from a new environmentally friendly approach to business to giving back to the community.
  • Best Marketing Campaign - For fast food and fast casual restaurants who have launched a marketing campaign in the past 12 months. We’re looking for the most innovative and successful campaign.
  • Best New Concept - For fast food and fast casual restaurants who have been up and running for 5 years or less, offering hot new concepts in limited serve arena.
  • Training Initiative of the Year - For fast food and fast casual restaurants who are committed to delivering exceptional quality to their customers by having a positive approach to training and developing staff. The entry should show the design, implementation and effect of the training initiative, backed up with statistical or other evidence such as an increase in profits or productivity.
  • Best Loyalty Program - For fast food and fast casual restaurants who is leading the way when it comes to building loyal and profitable customers. This award recognize chains who has operated loyalty offerings that is of value to customers and has benefited the brand at the same.
    Best Innovation - Food & Beverage - For fast food and fast casual restaurants who strive to provide creative or healthy food and beverage offerings to their customers. This award recognizes chains who come up with unique, outstanding products in a diverse market place, which may include healthy menu options, via nutritional calculators, kilojoule and nutritional information or even one off health related promotions.
  • Employee of the Year - Open to all quick service and fast casual restaurants, big or small. This award recognises the achievement of an individual within your organisation. This can be anyone from the CEO down. We want to recognise an individual that, over the past year, has demonstrated, vision, commitment and passion, contributing to the success of your chain.
  • 2015 Multi-Site Restaurant of the Year - The award is presented to a fast food or fast casual restaurant who have shown exemplary achievements and demonstrated outstanding accomplishments resulting to major advances and new directions in the quick service restaurant industry.
