McDonald’s BTS menu arrives in Australia
The collaboration also resulted in an exclusive merchandise line.
McDonald’s Australia announced that the global fast food chain’s menu collaboration with K-pop group BTS has arrived across its stores.
The BTS Meal features 10 pieces of Chicken McNuggets, large fries, a large soft drink and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by recipes from McDonald’s South Korea.
The collaboration also resulted in a merchandise line on the Weverse Shop app, inspired by the menu items from the BTS Meal, featuring hoodies, purple bathrobes, socks and sandals.
“We know our customers and crew have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of our first celebrity signature order in Australia, and we’re thrilled that the collaboration is finally here,” McDonald’s senior brand manager Liz Whitbread said. “We couldn’t be more excited to start seeing our guests enjoying the BTS Meal and sporting their favourite pieces from the exclusive merch line.”
McDonald’s is also introducing a new commercial featuring the band’s new single “Butter”.
Australia is one of the first countries to get the BTS Meal, which is coming to nearly 50 markets including India, Mexico, Singapore, and Lithuania.
