KFC releases limited edition Christmas in July jumpers, bundle

Proceeds from the jumpers will go to the chain’s charity partners.

Wanting to bring some festive cheer this winter, KFC announced the release of its limited-edition Christmas in July jumpers.

The red and white jumpers are available to buy for $59.95 from the fast food chain’s Shopify page. All profits from the jumpers will be donated to its charity partners The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia, and Whitelion.

The launch is accompanied by KFC’s newly created Christmas in July bundle, which includes their signature Original Recipe chicken, Wicked Wings, Nuggets, Popcorn Chicken, Large Chips, Potato & Gravy, along with sauces and a drink. Available until 9 August, customers can get free delivery when ordering via the KFC App.

KFC also partnered with Australian rock band Dune Rats, who have put their own spin on the classic Christmas tune Deck the Halls, now streaming on Youtube.

“We know that Aussies love any excuse to connect with their mates, so there’s no better reason this winter than celebrating Christmas in July. To give Aussies the cozy Christmas only the Northern hemisphere indulges in each December, we’re bringing everything our fans need to enjoy it to the full this July,” KFC Australia chief marketing officer Kristi Woolrych said.
