Gelato Messina opens Creative Department bookings for June
The brand is putting its Creative Department bookings for June after its May bookings sold out in two weeks.
The Creative Department menu is designed to be "an experimental, immersive, intriguing, indulgent and at times confronting, seven-course dining experience", in the format of a degustation, paired with complimenting drinks and liquids.
The brand said, "One of the original chefs that toiled away in that little space was a man with possibly the best accent in the world.. a French pastry chef by the name of Remi Talbot. After stints in kitchens of Japan, Denmark and France, Remi has returned to the roost as our Chief Creative, working alongside Messina Head Chef Donato Toce, and resident Gelato Freak, Nick Palumbo."
"Remi’s menu will probably challenge your taste buds and knock any pre-conceptions associated with eating 7 rounds of Messina straight out of your mind. By using seasonal, local and specifically sourced fresh produce and incorporating flavours not normally associated with dessert, our aim is to take you just out of your comfort zone but leave you feeling like you’ve just had a big hug from a cuddly stranger!"
