Donut King to give away over 60,000 cups of coffee

The brand is expecting to give away more than 60,000 cups of coffee to its customers around the country on Barista’s Shout Day on Wednesday 15 June.

Guests who visit their local Donut King store on the day between 9am and 5pm will receive a free small Royal Bean coffee and mini cinnamon donut from their local barista.

Donut King General Manager Nicholas Brill said Barista’s Shout Day is to thank customers for their patronage and to invite new customers to try the brand’s exclusively brewed Royal Bean coffee blend.

“When the coffee cravings hit on Wednesday, we encourage people to head to their local Donut King store to grab a free coffee and mini cinni,” he said.

“Barista’s Shout Day is our barista’s way of celebrating our loyal customers and our delicious coffee. Last Barista’s Shout Day Donut King served up more than 50,000 cups of coffee across the country, and we are expecting to beat that this year with the addition of a free donut to literally sweeten the deal!”

“Donut King is known for our delicious donuts but we want to put the spotlight on their perfect companion, a barista made espresso coffee,” Brill said.

“The brand has been working tirelessly on enhancing the quality of our coffee through a dedication to barista training, and we look forward to showing off their skills on Barista Shout Day. Our coffee is made from a unique blend of Royal Bean coffee beans roasted right here in Australia, and has been crafted to pair perfectly with donuts.”

Donut King’s coffee cup will also be getting a redesign on June 6.

“Our new coffee cup embraces the brand’s fun spirit and draws your attention with its bright, colourful design,” Brill said.
