Crust Parap Franchisee becomes finalist for the NT Young Achievers Awards
Franchisee Sally Illingworth was nominated as a finalist in the Northern Territory Young Achiever Awards.
The 20-year-old is one of the youngest franchisees in the Crust Pizza network and said she owes her success constant local community support.
"It is an absolute honour to have my achievements recognised, persistence and passion are key to achieving whatever you set your mind on and it is important that challenges such as young age, are overcome throughout your journey".
Illingworth said she loves to give her customers the best of the best service and is recognized and loved by Parap locals, the store has been labelled a crust above after providing incredible support to the community and withholding the record for making the Australia’s largest pizza..
Crust Parap have been involved in a number of community initiatives over the past two years including donating 100 pizzas to evacuees during the Daly River flood disaster, and partnering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation twice to raise money at their two anniversary events.
"It is a privilege to have the opportunity as a small business owner to give back and support my community in various ways," she said.
The Northern Territory Young Achiever Awards acknowledge, encourage and most importantly promote the positive achievements of young Territorians up to and including 29 years of age as of 31st December each year.
The Awards are to be held on Saturday 1st April 2017, 6.00pm Beachside Pavillion, SKYCITY Darwin.
