Restaurant Brands NZ reports 4.7% sales growth to NZ$181.5 million in Q3
Its Starbucks operations, however, saw the biggest sales decrease at 50.3%.
Restaurant Brands has announced their Q3 financial results with a 4.7% year-over-year sales increase to NZ$181.5 million.
Their Pizza Hut NZ, Starbucks, Carl’s Jr. and Pizza Hut Hawaii operations all saw a year-over-year decline that was countered by the growth of KFC NZ, KFC AU and Taco Bell Hawaii.
Starbucks had the biggest plunge with a 50.3% decrease in total sales to NZ$3.0 million despite the 5.0% rise in same store sales. The decline is said to be driven by the sale of the 22 stores completing during the quarter.
KFC Australia operations reported increased sales of 21.3% to NZ$44.3 million (AU$40.9 million) and 2.4% on a same store basis.
Sales of New Zealand operations, meanwhile, declined by 2.2% to NZ$94.7 million while Hawaiian operations generated NZ$42.5 million.
