KFC's 'Double Down Dog' creates internet frenzy

KFC Philippines had the internet buzzing last week after it announced its new creation.

Dubbed as the Double Down Dog, the new menu item uses its original recipe chicken fillet as a hotdog bun.

Previously only available at limited location and served in limited numbers, the success and popularity of the sandwich has pushed the brand to serve it at all KFC stores after only two days of being available.

KFC has received great attention, landing on news outlets, blogs and even on American talk show Late Show with David Letterman.
