Eagle Boys Pizza wins retail excellence award
The 2010 Australian Business Award for Retail Excellence was jointly awarded to Eagle Boys Pizza for its recent growth, achievements and industry contribution.
The pizza maker has been named Joint Winner of the 2010 Australian Business Award for Retail Excellence after a year of opening more than 40 additional stores and recording more than a 15% increase in sales on the back of a menu overhaul.
“This award is an amazing achievement for Eagle Boys and gives us the motivation and energy to continue to strive for innovation and excellence,” said Eagle Boys CEO Todd Clayton. “Our goal is to be Australia’s number one pizza maker and we believe we can achieve that by making sure we offer what pizza lovers are looking for. That’s why we invest heavily in research and development to create innovate new products and services,” he added.
The Australian Business Awards is a national awards program honouring organisations that demonstrate the core values of business excellence, product excellence, sustainability and commercial success in their respective industries.
Eagle Boys Pizza operates more than 315 franchised stores throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, the ACT and the Northern Territory, employing more than 4,000 staff and making more than 17 million pizzas a year.
