Zambrero's ex-CEO is franchisee of 14th Canberra store
The chain has over 200 stores worldwide.
Zambrero opened its newest store in Majura Park in Canberra, the chain’s 14th overall store in the capital.
Andrew Hall-Villiers, the chain’s state operations manager for ACT told QSR Media that the new store was owned by former Zambrero CEO Karim Messih.
"The Canberra market is where Zambrero started, Its our heartland and the customer base has a strong affinity for our product. I see the brand strength in the customer loyalty and I was excited to take my strong belief for the business into new territory adding to my store in Newtown, NSW," Messih said.
Messih helmed the Mexican-inspired restaurant business for about four years before becoming one of its store owners.
"Karim lead our business and there is no better advocate for our business than an ex-CEO running his own store. He has a wealth of knowledge of the business and his passion and drive for the brand is exciting. I look forward to continue to work with Karim and the team in their future success," added Matt Kenny, COO of Zambrero's parent company Sam Prince Group.
The chain has over 200 stores across the globe.
