Sunshine Kebabs signs master franchise deal for India

The master franchisee plans the launch before the new year and will start with two models. One a larger destination site, the other a food court kiosk. There will be some changes to the menu to accommodate the local dietary requirements.

Murat Coskun GM Sunshine Kebabs Australia comments, “We were keen to do the deal as we see the potential in India. The market is huge, the economy as a whole is massive and individual disposable income while still no comparison to many of the western and other developed Asian economies is growing at a very fast pace, we see a market we can continue to grow both horizontally and vertically for as far as we can see.”

The master franchisee already has multiple applicants for stores. Expansion plans are just a matter of bedding down the operations for the first two stores they then plan to expand to over 10 stores in late 2011.
